SMOOTH LAO CRIMINO

This Hip Hop song from Lao Crimino will surely set a new bench mark for Lao Hip Hop and will become most talked about song of all time in the history of modern Lao music.  This group of Lao Crimino will conquer and lay claim their Hip Hop territory.  There is no shocking rhymes here but smooth, beautiful and perfect .....Pix of Lao Crimino  More info Rating:
Lasmy Kalothong & Ajarn Sangswan

Two excellent of Lao southern folk songs from two masters of Lum from Champasack province, Ajarn Sangswan and Lasmy. 

Master Sangswan spits his Lum Konswan.  This is a classic style of Lum coming from the southern part of Laos.  it's still very popular there.  When I was young I used to stay up all night watching live performances by various artists in my village.  O I miss that.

This type of Lum usually performs by two artists, male and female.  They just sing and play along.  In hip hop, it's known as battle. 

Second song is by Lasmy Kalothong.  This is another classic example of popular Lao folk music from the southern part of Laos.  This is known as Lum Putai. 

These two songs are from their excellent Lao classical folk music album known as Laom Kuplum Thongthin Meung Lao

Yeah they are from my parents' song collection.  So watch these two popular Lao folk songs from the two southern stars.
